BOK new Islamic Branch starts operations in F-10 Markaz Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Bank of Khyber (BOK) Raast Islamic Banking Branch started operations in Islamabad after a formal inauguration by Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in graceful ceremony this morning at F-10 Markaz Islamabad. Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti appreciated the efforts of the BOK management in enhancement of BOK network across the country which alternatively helps the socio-economic activities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province through BOK. The formal inauguration ceremony was also attended by Mr. Bilal Mustafa, Managing Director Bank of Khyber (BOK), Syed Massom Shah Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, BOK Group Head Credits Mr. Imran Samad, Group Head Raast Islamic Banking Mr. Kamran Masood Khan, Group Head HRD Muhammad Tariq Naseem, SVP Business Development Islamic Mr. Sohail Khan, Head Marketing Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani, Chief Manager Islamabad Blue area branch Mr. Muhammad Fawad Sadozai, Manager Raast Islamic Banking branch Rawalpindi Bank Road Mr. Noor Nawaz Khan whereas Manager of F-10 Markaz branch Mr. Maqsood Ahmad Co-ordinate the inaugural ceremony events. Mr. Bilal Mustafa Managing Director BOK while briefing the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti expressed Thanks to the Chief Minister and his Government for their support in achieving various developmental goals of BOK and their guidelines for the socio-economic uplefts in the various on going scheme implementations. The assets of BOK have touched Rs. 73 Billion whereas the bank have been rated “A” by the rating agency JCR-VIS, as stated by the Managing Director BOK Mr. Bilal Mustafa while welcoming the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at F-10 Maraz, Islamabad Raast Islamic Banking Branch. Mr. Bilal Mustafa said that BOK is committed to cater the Banking requirements of Islamic Banking alongwith conventional in a befitting manner in order to encourage the economic developmental activities in the region..Mr. Bilal Mustafa said that Raast Islamic Banking of BOK has trader friendly network in all major cities of the country and we are increasing this net-work by75 branches by December 2012 and it will further enhance in 2013. BOK has also been serving Islamic Banking clients by providing them all Banking services through its net-work across the country successfully since 2003. Mr. Bilal Mustafa also mentioned that BOK Raast Islamic Banking is supervised by proper Shariah Compliant Committee as per State Bank of Pakistan’s rules. In this regard Islamic Banking Group and full time Shariah Compliance Department is ensuring proper compliance of all Shariah rules. This is a prime responsibility of BOK to provide Shariah Compliance schemes which are now getting encouraging results from the clients. Mr. Bilal Mustafa mentioned that BOK Raast Islamic Banking showed considerable growth in profit of Islamic Branches during last three years. Mr. Bilal Mustafa also mentioned the BOK Raast Islamic Banking Group is actively working on new Islamic Products and with the establishment of new Islamic Banking branches will further enhance its clientage.

    It is nice gesture of German Ambassador to call Pakistan, land of opportunity. Previously people used to call America land of opportunity.The spirit of competition is a healthy sign. More and more companies should encourage such competitions among students.

    Android Apps are great to use. They are user friendly devices. Pakistan is full of talented persons. The talent should be encouraged.
