PPP public meeting made PML as target
HYDERABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Sindh, Muhammad Ayub Shar has criticised the speeches of PPP leaders in their last night public meeting which he said had targeted to Pakistan Muslim League and its leader Mian Nawaz Sharif. Addressing news conference at press club here on Tuesday he said the whole Sindh cabinet and lot of federal ministers failed to gather the people from interior as no minister or assembly members can go in his constituency after passage of local bodies bill out of anger and hate of people against them. He called the PPP public meeting in Hyderabad as failed. He said IG Sindh was on record of having said that 19000 policemen will guard the public meeting adding that these cops attended the public meeting in civvies. He claimed that PPP has lost its existence in Sindh after LB bill which had divided Sindh into pieces. He said the PPP could not dare set up a single reception camp in Hyderabad out of rage of people against it. However people like Malik Asad who keeps record in changing the parties had brought his Haris under force to attend the Jalsa. He said of Qaim Ali that when Bhutto was hanged Qaim ran away from Pakistan. He questioned as to why every speaker at public meeting was criticising Nawaz Sharif for the only reason that Nawaz Sharif and his party PML was getting political gains in Sindh which the PPP could not digest. He said if Nawaz Sharif was so bad why Benazir and Zardari have signed charter of democracy with him in London and Bhurbha. He said everyone knows the role of Ayub Khuhro then chief minister who helped impose One Unit on Sindh and was dubbed by Sindhi people as their traitor. He said like his uncle Ayub Khuhro, Nisar Khuhro the speaker of Sindh Assembly has played same role of treachery. He said PPP claims to have shown the show of power but on the other hand dozens of people were being killed on daily basis in Sindh. Apart from law and order unemployment, price hike, kidnapping and robberies were on rise as no one feels himself safe as the rulers were spending national exchequer on publicity only instead of improving situation. He took exception of what he called abusive language the PPP ministers used in last night against Mian Nawaz Sharif and his party. He vowed to continue protest until the bill was withdrawn. He also accused government of closing down 2 Sindhi channels Sindh TV and Mehran TV last whole day lest these channels could show failure of PPP public meeting. Badar Channa former Sindh advisor also made short address.
