Indian BSF presents sweets, saplings to Pak Rangers on Independence Day


WAGAH: On the occasion of the 67th Independence Day, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) officials presented sweets, fruits and saplings to their counterparts of Pakistan Rangers at Wagah on Thursday.

BSF, deputy inspector general, Amritsar sector, MF Farooqui exchanged greetings and gifted sweet boxes, fruit basket and couple of saplings of ornamental plants to Wing Commander of Pakistan’s Ranger Adnan Sheikh from Zero Line.

“These are the plants of peace that we have requested our counterparts to take care of and they have also assured to plant them at the border,” said Farooqui. INP
