Anurag kashyap praised by bachchan

Anurag Kashyap’s film, “Gangs of Wasseypur” faced mixed views. Some were disgusted by the potrayed blood and violence while some were also impressed by the desolate and excruciatingly realistic interpretation of gang war in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. However, the Brand Ambassador of the Iffa awards and the most successful actor in the Bollywood industry,  Amitabh Bachchan feels that director Anurag Kashyap has allowed the visuals to surge as they would and says he would sturdily advocate it.

The movie made is based on a true story by the writer Zeishan Quadri. The film is originally set in the disctrict of  Wasseypur, Jharkhand. This particular area is famously known for its gang war between between the gangster naely, Faheem Khan and businessman Sabir Alam over a fragment business. When the movie was released, It ran houseful in most parts of India on its grand opening on Friday and it is predicted that the interest of more people in the movie will soon be increasing.

Amitabh Bachcha wrote in his blog regarding this movie. “Quite undoubtedly the moment of the day has been the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (GOW), which I have had the great privilege to see. Indian Cinema is at its best, honest, stark and as painfully real as possible. For one that has been born and lived a major portion of his life in almost similar environment, or at least exposed to it to some degree, I found so much that I could well relate to. And that has led to the authenticity… Anurag Kashyap has not done any fancy shot taking and allowed the visuals to flow as they would, were one to be living those circumstances in real time,” he wrote.
