Amy Winehouse Statue Intended for Camden Spot

Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse is fit to gain tribute close to her former house in Camden by having a life-size bronze statue.

Plans are underway to pay tribute to Amy Winehouse in order that she remains in the memories of people after her death at her home here in north London.

A spokesman for the venue told: “We think it’s important that Amy Winehouse’s contribution to music is recognized in Camden, but the idea is in its early stages of development at the moment.”

Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch, said while talking to a news reporter: “It will be bronze, life-size and on the first-floor balcony next to the Roundhouse bar. What we’d like to have is Amy leaning over the balcony and looking, and perhaps pointing, towards Camden Town from Chalk Farm Road.”

Amy’s house in Camden has become a type of shrine for fans after her death.

This is going to be a tribute to Amy Winehouse’s services for providing her fans with some happy and excited moments in their lives. She is going to be remembered in the form of this statue as the planners hope.
