Desensitization allergy: 3 years is enough

Desensitization in the allergic child is recommended in patients with severe asthma and sensibility to a single allergen. It is performed by subcutaneous injections in the arm. Until now, treatment lasted five.

A study conducted by the University of Lodz in Poland, shows that it is effective for a period of three years. Children with asthma are less consumed corticosteroids, asthma symptoms were alleviated, and that during the three years following desensitization.

Good news for children who will have fewer bites, they do not appreciate!
