SPU arrests two wanted terrorists in Bannu/Lakki Marwat


BANNU/LAKKI MARWAT: Special Police Unit (SPU) arrested two wanted terrorists of a banned outfit during separate raids on Tuesday.

According to reports, SPU responding to intelligence reports conducted operations against the extremists in Bannu and Lakki Marwat during which two terrorists identified as Hafiz Muhammad and Wajid Ahmed linked with a banned organization were apprehended.

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) said that Wajid Ahmed was injured in a terrorist attack on September 18, but he had managed to flee.

The nabbed terrorists have been shifted to undisclosed destination for further investigation.
