FIA arrests four human traffickers in Gujrat and Gujranwala

GUJRAT/GUJRANWALA: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four outlaws involved in human trafficking and recovered fake passports and others documents during separate actions here on Tuesday.

According to details, the FIA teams in its ongoing efforts against human trafficking raided offices of travel agents in various areas of Gujrat and Gujranwala.

Four human traffickers were apprehended during the crackdowns. Fake passports, CNICs and other documents were recovered from the possession of the detainees.

The FIA following the directives of Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has accelerated crackdowns against elements involved in human trafficking and illegally sending people abroad.

The Interior Minister has said that human traffickers exploit innocent people luring to send them abroad, for making big money and these element deserve no leniency. He said that elements involved in human trafficking earn bad name for the country, therefore FIA should take strict action against those involved in illegal practice.
