Amirul Ebad says receiving calls to forgo payments due from MQM

KARACHI: Amirul Ebad, brother of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, has claimed that he was receiving phone calls to abandon the demand for payments due from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

Speaking in a talk show, Amirul Ebad said he had executed some projects with MQM leader Rauf Siddiqui in the past and now he was receiving phone calls to forgo the payments due from him.

Reacting to Amirul Ebad’s statement, Rauf Siddiqui said he was shocked to hear such claims. He said some irregularities were committed in Amirul Ebad’s solar power projects.
