Two dengue cases surface in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: Two persons on Thursday were admitted in isolation ward of the Allied Hospital after they were confirmed affected with dengue virus.
40-year-old Rubina from Chiniot and 30-year-old Muhammad Ilyas from Neelum Valley were transferred to the hospital in high fever. The medics confirmed dengue virus in their blood after conducting tests.
Earlier, Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif had formed a committee to probe growth of dengue in Rawalpindi. The committee will file a report to the CM nominating officials who did not shoulder their responsibilities.
