Seven outlaws held; wine & narcotics seized in Capital

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered hashish, heroin, wine as well as stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Khana police arrested `fake Aamil’ Sarfraz for involvement in fraudulent activities. Police team also arrested an accused Abid Masih and recovered 20 liter wine from him.

Bhara Kahu police nabbed Sohail and recovered 350 gram hashish from him. Golra police arrested an accused Iftikhar and recovered two wine bottles from him. Tarnol police arrested Zaheer for having five liter wine while Shehzad Town police nabbed Khurram Shehzad in possession of 125 gram heroin.

Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. Furthermore police arrested eight professional alm- seekers.

SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
