Target killer reveals getting paid Rs 2,000 for a life in Karachi
KARACHI: Target killer Javed Punjabi has revealed to the investigators that he was paid Rs 2,000 for a killing by his commander.
The culprit, who was arrested from Purana Golimar around a month ago, used to target the people who had refused to pay extortion money. He was provided with names of his targets by gang war commander named Riyasat.
Punjabi’s group included Jameel Changa, Sultan Agha, Kamran Kamu, Fazal Dada among 16 persons.
In one the incidents, Punjabi and his two accomplices Salman and Zahid alias Haddi abducted Khuram Hazar, tortured him to death and later threw his body in Lyari’s lake.
According to investigation authorities, huge cache of weapons was recovered after raiding a site in Khawaja Ghareeb Colony on Punjabi’s information.
