Eight outlaws including four POs arrested
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested eight outlaws during high vigilance in the city and recovered 270 liter wine as well as hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Kohsar police apprehended a bootlegger Shakeel Masih and recovered 270 liter wine from him.
Shehzad Town police arrested two accused Abid and Ahmed allegedly involved in theft case. Khana police arrested an afghan national Saeed Agha residing illegally in the country.
Furthermore, Tarnol, Khana and Industrial- Area police apprehended four proclaimed offenders namely Haroon Ashraf, Ehasn, Javed Akthar and Iftkhir Shah.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all SHOs to ensure high vigilance and strict patrolling in their respective areas.
