Two killed as oil tanker catches fire in Nawabshah
NAWABSHAH: A driver and cleaner were scorched to death when an oil tanker caught fire near Daulatpur bypass here on Tuesday.
According to eyewitness, an oil tanker was en-route to Karachi from Punjab when it overturned after the driver lost control while overtaking a vehicle near u-turn resultantly fire caught tanker claiming lives of two persons.
The incident badly disrupted flow of traffic while the fire tenders doused the flames after arriving at the spot.
According to rescue spokesperson the dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital.
