Two more victims of Sheikhupura road crash succumb to injuries, toll reaches 20
FAISALABAD: Two more victims of the Feb 10 Sheikhupura road mishap involving collision between an LPG filled tanker and a car with inferno because of gas leakage, on Saturday succumbed to injuries at Allied Hospital of Faisalabad, taking the death toll to 20.
The deceased were identified as Sub-inspector Sikandar Hayat and Kosar Perveen.
The tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) had a collision with the car and the gas leakage fueled an inferno engulfing the vehicle, two rickshaws carrying schoolchildren and nearby buildings near Sheikhupura’s Mananwala.
A case was registered against gas the tanker’s driver and owner at Mananwala police station.
