Interior Secretary opposes winding up of NCMC
ISLAMABAD, March 03 (INP): Federal Interior Secretary Arif Ahmad Khan openly opposed the decisions of former interior secretary Shahid Khan about winding up of National Crisis Management Cell (NCMC) and convinced Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan not to wrap up NCMC.
According to sources, the secretary on Thursday informed the minister about the importance of NCMC on which the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan withdrew the decision and directed return of NCMC budget from NECTA which ended uncertainty among its employees.
According to sources, 92 employees of NCMC have moved an application in the Islamabad High Court against the decision of the former interior secretary Shahid Khan and now after the decision of the Interior Minister are considering to withdraw its application.
