Zunera Malik elected Sindh President of PTI Women Wing; calls atrocities of WAPDA as vandalism


HYDERABAD: Pakistan Tehrik Insaaf has elected new body of its women wing at provincial level , the announcement of which was made at press club here Thursday in a press conference.

According to notification of newly elected body Zunera Malik has been elected as president for Sindh while Seema Shaikh, Kanwal Randhawa, Mahjabeen Shaikh and Seem Khan were elected on other posts. Zunera Malik told that a week earlier new provincial body was elected of which she distributed notification among the elected office bearers.

She said the women wing of PTI will be organized at district, tehsil and union council level throughout the province. Talking with media she lashed out at Wapda calling its atrocities with people as vandalism. She said on one hand Wapda has let loose its savagery of load shedding around 16 to 18 hours in whole Sindh while on the other it was mentally torturing consumers by sending exaggerated bills.

She said Wapda officers have been depriving people of Sindh of electricity during the scorching heat under excuse of nonpayment of exaggerated bills. She also condemned WASA for supply water for drinking which was polluted with filth and choked gutter water.

She lamented that government was not addressing the basis issues of people. She demanded no load shedding during holy month of Ramzan. On this occasion, General Secretary Iram Butt, Information Secretary Seem Khan, Sadia and others were present.
