Phone services demanded for border areas
MOHMAND AGENCY: Khwezai and Biazai areas of Biazai Sub-Division in Mohmand Agency border areas have no cell phone or any others communication facilities, due to which locals’ residents of the area facing problems and difficulties.
Biazai Sub-Division situated on Pak-Afghan border is a far-flung and backward area with low literacy rate, and most of the area peoples are living in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
The area has only one PTCL exchange at Atta, which was blasted seven years ago which has been not reconstructed till this time, according to the residents.
They said that locals’ peoples were facing problems to contacts or receive their relatives’ calls in the area.
A local resident Abubakar said that due to the nonavailability of Cell phone and PTCL the area peoples using V-phone facilities but its service is not satisfactory.
He said that the Atta PTCL exchange was blasted seven years ago which was not reconstructed till the time we have appealed to the locals administration so many time but in vain.
The local people demanded of the KP governor and Mohmand political administration to reconstruct and also install cell phone facilities in the area.
