Edhi was great humanitarian: Pir Pagara, HCCI, others condole his death
HYDERABAD: More people have condoled death of noted social humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi. Pir Saheb Pagara and chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) Pir Sabghatullah Shah Rashdi has expressed deep grief on sad demise of noted social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi and has said in his message that he was great man of century. He said he was institution of himself. He never spent a rupee on himself but on others orphan children, widows and elderly persons without consideration of religion, caste and colour.
Similar views were expressed by Seth Gohar Khan president Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and members of managing committee of HCCI adding that Edhi was a humanitarian generous man that nation has lost. They prayed for strength of Edhi family to cope with irreparable loss.
The Hyderabad Union of Journalists president Farhan Effendi, general secretary Abbas Kassar, and others also condoled the death of Abdul Sattar Edhi. Faqir Gul Muhammad Hajano chairman Hajano Ittehad Welfare Society Sindh also expressed deep sorrow on the death of Edhi. They added that though the nation has lost a great humanitarian but his legacy remains alive.
