Spartan International heading for a great future with Dhoni’s support
MUMBAI: Australian sporting goods and apparel manufacturer Spartan International has refuted the media reports which suggested that Team India’s captain (limited over matches) Mahendra Singh Dhoni is being duped of Rs. 20 crores.
Kunal Sharma could not be contacted as he was in transit between London and Sydney, but an associate Norman Kochannek, when approached in Australia, said, “there are absolutely no outstanding payments as far as I am aware to MS Dhoni or his management team.”
“The timing of these comments have ironically surfaced around the same time as the media announcement of Sachin Tendulkar joining Spartan International at The Grange Hotel in London.’
“Dhoni’s manager has not said a word about the outstanding dues. Arun Pandey and Kunal Sharma are great friends”.
Spartan International is spreading their global brand with great success. It is about all sports, not just cricket. Spartan International have been in existence since the 1950s as a Sporting goods manufacturer out of Jalandhar. They are now based in Sydney, Australia”.
“It is a complete fabrication by media and Spartan International would deny it. Dhoni and Spartan continue to have a great relationship. The claims are baseless and may not have come from anyone other than media.”, Kochannek signed off.
