Much controversy has caused some pictures where it appears the Japanese Paralympic athlete, Maya Nakanishi, who decided to pose nude to fund their travel and stay in England to participate in the Paralympic Games in 2012.
In the images of a calendar appears athlete, 26, showing her prosthetic leg which led to criticism from other athletes, who said Nakanishi had “humiliated the disabled.” connection, the athlete said “I want to convey the idea that the prosthesis is something beautiful and not a cause of shame.”
She also said that she slept in her car for not having enough money for a house.
Maya lost part of her right leg in an accident at work in Japan.
