HYDERABAD: Medical Superintendent Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad and Jamshsoro Dr. Muzaffar Ali Kalhoro said on Sunday that it was their top priority to treat all patients including those suffering from coronavirus and to provide them best treatment available.
While addressing a joint meeting of doctors of LUH Jamshoro and Hyderabad and coronavirus control committee, Dr. Muzaffar Ali Kalhoro said the strategy of Sindh government to combat coronavirus was proving effective.
Dean faculty of medicines LUMHS Jamshoro professor Sohail Ahmed Almani, professor Dr. Muzaffar Shaikh, Associate Professor Dr. Mumtaz Ali Lakho, AMS general Dr. Shaukat Ali, AMS Dr. Muhammad Shahid Junejo, focal person corona virus Dr. Muhammad Naeem Memon, Dr. Aftab Phul, senior pharmacist Abdul Hafiz Shar were present in the meeting.
Dr. Muzaffar Ali Kalhoro said with outbreak of coronavirus isolation wards have been set up in civil hospital Hyderabad. Now, these wards have been increased to more capacity so all patients could be accommodated.
He said all doctors, paramedics and nurses have been provided with masks, caps, gowns and other equipment required to deal with patients. He asked medical staff that zero negligence towards treatment could be tolerated.
He said Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences and Liaquat university hospital were working jointly to combat this pandemic.
