HONG KONG – Media OutReach – 29 May 2023 – The pop music scene in Hong Kong has recently experienced an unprecedented boom due to the relaxation of epidemic prevention restrictions by the Hong Kong government. However, from the perspective of the general public, apart from “listening” to pop music, can pop music be “played” properly? To enable more people to master the advanced accompaniment skills of playing pop music, Sheung’s Studio has recently created the four concepts of pop music and the “ARRS” system. In the future, the school intends to make use of its online “Improvisation Accompaniment Training Program” to promote the local pop music industry from the public level and to draw musical connections in East Asia.
