3.3 magnitude earthquake hits Lahore

A minor earthquake of 3.3 magnitude struck Lahore and its surrounding areas on Friday at around 4:43pm.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the epicentre of the quake was India – 125 km from the city.

The quake caused panic in the most-affected areas causing people to rush out of their homes and work buildings.

No casualties were reported.
