KOHAT: At least four persons were arrested while four shops sealed and hundreds of substandard cold drink bottles seized during crackdown here on Tuesday.
A team of district food department headed by district incharge, Ghulam Khan and accompanied by heavy contingent of police conducted operation against substandard cold drink sellers in Tirah Bazaar of Kohat.
During action four shops involved in selling substandard drinks were sealed, their owners were arrested and hundreds of bottles of poor quality cold drinks were seized.
The police after registering cases against the detainees have started the investigation.
