KASUR, Feb 04 (INP): A notorious robber was killed while his three accomplices managed to escape after exchange of fire here on Thursday.
DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi said that on a tip-off regarding presence of criminals, police conducted operation near Malooki Drain in Kasur during which exchange of fire took place.
In cross firing a notorious robber identified as Gulzar alias “Daa’ng” was killed while his three cohorts managed to flee from the scene.
The robber killed in encounter was wanted by police in more than a dozen cases of robberies, kidnapping and other crimes.
