FAISALABAD: A father turned nutty over some domestic dispute and shot dead his own minor son here on Tuesday and fled the home.
Police said accused after exchange of hot words with wife over some domestic issues opened straight fire at his minor son in Chak No. 459-GB of Tandlianwala, district Faisalabad. As a result of firing the child died on the spot while the ruthless father managed to escape after committing the crime.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the murderer started raids for his arrest.
One killed, another injured in Hafizabad shooting spree
At least one person was killed and another injured when armed men opened fire to settle old dispute here on Tuesday.
Police said that armed culprits sprayed bullets at members of rival group in Bahuman area of Hafizabad killing one person on the spot and leaving other seriously injured.
The assailants managed to flee after committing the crime and the body and injured were moved to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, the police after registering a case into the incident have started raids to arrest the killers.
