LAHORE: The three-day Gems Exhibition will be started on Friday at AVARI Hotel, Lahore in a bid to promote gems and jewelry sector. Federal Secretary for Industries & Production, Khizar Hayat Gondal will formally inaugurate the exhibition, organised by the Pakistan Gems & Jewelry Company, said a press statement issued. On the occasion, DG PGJC Bakhtiar Khan, CEO PGDC Board Abdur Razaq, along with other officials will also be present.
“The main purpose of the exhibition is to promote this export-oriented sector which had a potential to fetch huge amount of foreign exchange for the country,” said CEO Bakhtiar Khan, adding that the exhibition will provide opportunity to more than 100 stall holders to showcase the best of Pakistani gemstones, diamonds, jewelry, and mineral specimens from across the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Chaghi, Gilgit-Baltistan, Hunza, Chitral, and Peshawar.
After successful exhibitions in Lahore, Folk Market all set to display Natural Gems, Minerals, Rocks and Jewelry at AVARI Hotel.
Folk Market collection consists of Rough Gemstones and Crystals, Fine Mineral Specimens, Gemstone Cabochons and Tumbles, Gemstones and Crystal Pendants, Gemstone Jewelry, Antique / Vintage / Tribal / Gypsy Jewelry and much more!
“We have conducted successful exhibitions this year at the different venue. The exhibition would remain open until May 22, and the entry will be free to the public. A large number of people from different walks of life including diplomats, civil society, and showbiz celebrities are also invited.
