HMC mayor visits various areas of city to review sanitation work
HYDERABAD: Mayor Hyderabad Syed Tayyab Hussain visited various areas of Hyderabad and Latifabad where he saw himself drain nullahs and pumping stations. On this occasion MQM In-charge Zafar Siddiqui, workers of district committee, MPA Nasir Hussain Qureshi, officers of HMC and union council chairemen accompanied him during tour. He asked officers of health services department to keep staff alert and ensure sanitation and hygienic work in city. He asked there should not be any complaint from any locality of city. He visited pumping stations of Latifabad No.10, Tulsidas pumping station, Affendi pumping station, Phuleli Tanga stand, Rehman town pumping station and Sattar Shah pumping station which were thoroughly inspected.
He inquired from sanitation staff there on pumping out rain water and other arrangements. He also talked with Hesco and and WASA on other issues. He said if pumping stations continue working satisfactorily then there was no possibility of any kind of urban flooding or any other such issue.
Mayor said all teams of HMC and UC chairmen were in field in such a situation and we all as a team were providing better atmosphere to city.
