Actress Sapna Missing: Dost Muhammad Khosa may face jail term over Sapna Khan case
LAHORE: City police have been lodged an FIR against MPA Dost Muhammed Khosa in the case of actress Sapna Khan; police directed to take serious measures against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader in the case.
The additional and sessions court judge summoned SHO Race Course police station to register an FIR against the former Punjab Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khosa. The SHO said that ex chief minister’s house was located in Defence area.
Dost Muhammad Khosa is charged of abducting and killing his wife Sapna Khan.
In the situation, the sister of the missing actress believed that he had given Sapna a trip to the dwelling of Khosa on May 22 after which she vanished.
Heirs of Sapna Khan claimed that Khosa wed Sapna and has a little girl from her. They charged Khosa of kidnapping Sapna along with her daughter.
Sapna’s dad, Misal Khan, claimed that his daughter vanished after she went to see Khosa at his residence.
In his application, Misal Khan had reported that Khosa had requested Sapna to check out him at his dwelling, 12-B Ackmen Road GOR-1.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Ch Nazeer Ahmad on Wednesday directed Race Course station house officer (SHO) to register a case if any cognizable offence is established against Dost Muhammad Khosa and his seven other companions for allegedly killing of Sapna Khan, a stage actress and wife of former CM.
The court issued these directions during the hearing of an application filed by Misal Khan, father of Zaiba Khan alias “Sapna Khan” u/s 22-A/22-B, seeking court direction for the registration of a criminal case against Dost Muhammad Khosa and his seven other henchmen named Sajad Ahmed, Shahir Daood Butt, Muhammad Fahim Amjad, Rana Tanveer, Javed, Yasin and Shahid who first kidnapped his daughter and later killed her.
Khan submitted in his petition that on June 22, stating that his daughter told him that her husband Khosa had called her at 12-B Ackmen Road GOR-1 (Khosa’s residence). After that Sapna left home for above mentioned address and could not be found.
After that he tried to contact Khosa but he intentionally did not respond and also sent a message to his (Khan’s) son threatening that if the search for Sapna is not stopped, he would kill her entire family. He implored the court that no one bothering to take action against Khosa as he was a politician and had been former CM.
Earlier, replying the petition the SHO had denied the occurrence of any such incident within the limit of his concerned police station.
After that Sapna’s brother Faisal Khan filed an affidavit in the court submitting that he himself on June 22, 2010 dropped his sister at 12-B Ackmen Road GOR-1 (Khosa’s residence) from there, she was kidnapped and killed afterwards. In his affidavit, he endorsed the details mentioned in the petition filed by his father Misal Khan.
During the hearing Khosa’s counsel Zubair Khalid opposed contentions raised by the petitioner’s counsel submitting that court had already rejected application for recovery of Sapna Khan.The petitioner’s counsel pointed out that it was not a habeas corpus petition but a plea to register a murder case against the accused. After hearing the arguments of both the parties the court directed SHO Race Course to proceed in accordance with law and register a case, if any cognizable offence is committed. Misal Khan, in his application had also submitted that his daughter Sapna Khan was married to Khosa on June 2, 2010, and his daughter gave birth to a baby named Mah Gull on February 28, 2011. He alleged that Khosa used to torture his daughter.
He later came to know from messengers of Mr Khosa that Sapna had been permanently shifted to Dubai with one of his lady servant. He said when Khosa visited Sargodha for a prize distribution ceremony in August this year, he again assured his daughter Ambreen Rizwan, who lived in Sargodha, that Sapna would return home in due course of time. He stated that some unidentified people had informed his family, a few days ago that his daughter was killed by Khosa and his accomplices while Dost Muhammad Khosa in another case had informed the Lahore High Court that he had divorced Sapna Khan.
