We Condemn shooting of Rasheed Godil (MQM)
According to news reports, MQM leader and MNA Rasheed Godil was shot, while riding in his car alongwith his family member and the driver. The driver was critically wounded and succumbed to injuries. Godil received chest, head and arm injuries and reported to be in critical condition in the hospital.
The violence has not ended in Karachi. This target killing involved two assailants on the motorbike, who sprayed bullets at the occupants of the car. The MQM leader flanked by others strongly condemned the incident and hoped for the arrest of the culprits.
The prominent political leaders including PTI spokesman Shireen Mazari condemned the shooting incident. The Chief Minister and the Interior minister should get into action. It seems that law and order situation has not improved at all. All the claims of the Sindh government are false, and untenable. The citizens have no security against such gun trotting men. We strongly condemn such violent incidents.
