KARACHI: At least nine suspects, including four women, were arrested late Sunday night as police raided massage centres in posh areas of the mega city.
Two massage centres were also sealed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from one massage centre.
Some of the accomplices of the suspects managed to escape during the raids and the hunt for them was now underway, the police said.
A case against the arrested accused was registered in Clifton police station. The police said the crackdown against the massage centres would continue.
Nine suspects of banned outfit held in Quetta
The Frontier Corps (FC), police and sensitive agencies on Monday arrested nine suspects of a banned outfit during a joint search operation in different areas of the Balochistan capital.
According to an FC spokesman, two rifles, two pistols and several bullets were recovered from the possession of the suspects.
Two ‘terrorists’ involved in traffic cops killing arrested
Two suspected terrorists of a banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi were captured during an operation carried out by the intelligence agencies in District Central here on Monday.
According to police sources, arms were recovered from the possession of detainees stated to be involved in target killing of traffic police personnel in the city, extortion and other crimes.
