16 Tablighis ran away from quarantine arrested in Bara

HYDERABAD: 16 Tablighis belonging to Mahmad Agency who were caught by Matiari district police in Sindh on 1st April and were kept in quarantine in a mosque in New Saeedabad town of Matiari district have ran away from quarantine. The 16 are 8 men and 8 women.

Sindh police had contacted KPK police about the incident that these 16 persons were infected with corona virus. On receiving information from Sindh police KPK police spotted them in Bara on Wednesday where they were arrested and put in quarantine there.

Meanwhile, DIG Hyderabad has suspended DHO New Saeedabad on charges of negligence. In the meantime, Saeedabad police have arrested 3 persons Ayub Pathan, Manzoor Illahi Rajput and Rafiq Mallah who had provided sureties for 16 Tablighis.
