KARACHI: Provincial Health Minster Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that video link conference with medical superintendents (MS) of public sector hospitals and directors of provincial healthcare facilities at district levels (DHO) will be held on regular basis soon to check regularity and punctuality of the health service provider staff and to enhance the performance of health department.
This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office Monday.
Secretary Health Ahmed Bux Narejo also attended.
He directed the Secretary Health to make arrangements in this regard and ensure conducting of video link conference at earliest.
He said, “This step of health department will not only enable the high ups of the department to keep a vigilant eye and it will also create sense of responsibility among health department employees.”
He said that we all should get benefit of latest technology to provide better health services to the people and no negligence should be tolerated in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Minister Health has directed the Secretary Health to take strict action against DS Zahid Shur who was found involved in corruption and to relieve him at once.
The health minister also talked to Chief Secretary in this regard and suggested to take Departmental Inquiry against him.
