KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information and Archives Moula Bux Chandio said that the rights of intellectuals, writers will be safeguarded at all levels.
This he said while talking to the All Pakistan Writers Forum (APWF) Chairman A.G. Sanghania who called on him at his office Tuesday.
He told that the intellectuals, writers are the precious assets of the country.
Chandio further said that Sindh government is trying for the betterment of intellectuals like other walks of life.
The columnists and writers are playing vital role for the development of Sindh province which is highly appreciable. Sindh Government is trying to resolve the problems faced by the writers community and said he will continue in future as well, he added.
He further said that the role of writers, intellectuals in stability of democracy is highly important. On this occasion APWF Chairman A.G. Sanghania presented a memorable shield to Chandio.
The Advisor thanked Sanghania for the shield and said that Sindh Government always believes in freedom of expression.
