20,965 patients of Hepatitis-B vaccinated in April 2015 in Sindh
HYDERABAD: Hepatitis Prevention and Control Program Sindh (under Chief Minister’s Initiative) 20965 people were vaccinated against hepatitis-B and around 27 special camps were set up.
According to the monthly report prepared by the Hepatitis Prevention and Control Programme Sindh Chief Minister’s Initiatives, more than 75 centers across the province were utilized for the purpose and while blood samples of 6127 persons were collected during April-2016 across the province.
Hepatitis awareness seminars were also held in all parts of Sindh on the special directives of Health Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar and Programme Manager Dr. Abdul Khalique Shaikh, while the monitoring officer supervised the camps.
