After receiving license we should think of future: HCCI Chief Adeel Siddiqui

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Adeel Siddiqui has said after receiving the license HCCI has started its function in a legal way. He asked HCCI members to forget what was done in past and think of the future. He said there were many issues but we have to go forward to progress. He said development works were being carried out with funds of MNAs Sabir Qaimkhai and Salahuddin.

Addressing a news conference, the HCCI chief said the business community was an oppressed community we are busy doing business since 70 years as such we are stakeholders. Officers do not stay permanently as they serve their period while others come in their place. He demanded to form a development committee headed by Commissioner Hyderabad.

HCCI president asked authorities to hand over possession of industrial plots to the traders who have purchased with advance payment as now plots there have been too costly. He said there appears to be a shortage of wheat in Sindh to the extent of 30% for which he asked the government to take immediate steps to meet the shortage of wheat. He said the business community was providing revenue upto 33% to Hesco yet they were being issued notices which he demanded must stop. He demanded to start cargo service from Hyderabad.
