HYDERABAD Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Nadim Rehman Memon has asked all deputy commissioners and concerned officers to finalize all required arrangements before local bodies elections and submit him lists of union councils and polling stations in their areas. This he said reviewing the arrangements of local bodies elections 2022 while chairing a meeting in his office. He asked returning officers and concerned officers to ensure getting public transport so that voters may not face any difficulty to reaching election booths for 2022 local bodies elections.
Div Commissioner also asked concerned officers to visit polling stations according to a list furnished by the election commission to them and take stock of facilities like water, electricity, and other required facilities and in case of shortage of any facility, they shall furnish a detailed report.
He also asked to prepare a plan about security, facilities, number of union councils, training of staff, availability of polling material, and other concerned issues so as to ensure transparent polling of local bodies elections.
