‘It’s Not Bollywood Plastic Surgery’: Mohammad Ahmed Answers His Critics

Mohammad Ahmed

LAHORE: Senior Pakistani actor Mohammad Ahmed has publicly clarified the cosmetic procedure he has undergone, after a follower questioned the decision in a comment on one of his videos.

The comment was affectionate rather than hostile: the user wrote that Ahmed looks good as he is, and asked why he was getting the procedure done at all.

Ahmed answered directly. He said he is not remaking himself through a face lift — he simply wants to look like a better version of himself.

The actor went on to explain that he is not changing who he is, but using a minor procedure to present a more refined appearance.

He then addressed the assumption underneath the question head-on, clarifying that this is not a “Bollywood-style” plastic surgery — and telling followers not to worry.

The exchange lands at a moment when cosmetic procedures among South Asian television actors are moving from whispered speculation to open discussion. Ahmed, one of Pakistani drama’s most familiar character actors, has chosen to answer publicly rather than let the comment section fill the gap — a shift in how senior artists engage with online scrutiny.
