Tara Driscoll faces rape and sexual abuse charges against her underage student
Yet another female N.Y. teacher identified as Tara Driscoll is found involved in illicit relationship with her own student; the 33-year-old is accused of alluring one of her students to a motel room to have sex with. The detectives arrested the teacher on Friday while on charges of rape and having sex involving a minor; the student involved was under 17 years of age.
If the shocking charges (mentioned above) levied on the Magnet High School teacher Tara Driscoll are true, it means that situation is more alarming and dangerous for the parents. Every now and then, a story emerges wherein mostly a female teacher is found guilty of establishing and developing sexual relationship(s) with the kids they are supposed to teach at schools.
The recent example of Tara Driscoll, 33, is not an exception since the Bay Shore N.Y. resident was arrested by the cops on Friday morning and arraigned in a court over the charges mentioned above. Teacher used to be with the said school in Cambria Heights in Queens Area and according to the detectives; she drove the said boy along to a Lynbrook-based Capri Motel in New York; with ‘wrong intentions.’
Detectives said it was on March 19 this year when Tara and the boy had their opportunity to enjoy their ‘physical relationship’ for first time. Further, since according to New York law the age of consent is approximately 17; Tara broke the law thus, said police. The student was questioned first and then the arrest was made on Friday while the phone records of both the teacher and the students alongside a video tape were also looked into by the detectives.
