Horrible Attock suicide bombing: Shuja Khanzada embraced martyrdom
Interior Minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada embraced martyrdom along with 16 other persons at Attock. Two suicide bombers attacked his office. Parvez Elahi expressed his anger over this incident. He highly praised him. He said he served in his cabinet as a minister too. He was an honest, brave and dedicated person. He served the country in various capacities as colonel in the army and attaché in the Washington, D.C.
He had received death threats from terrorist organization. He was not provided adequate security. he has been carrying out successful operations against the terrorists. He participated in 1971 Indo -Pak war. Army Chief highly praised Shuja Khanzada. He said these incidents can not deter our resolve against terrorism.
Prominent Political leaders including Governor Punjab, Chief Minister Punjab and KPK, and others expressed their grief over Shuja Khanzada’s martyrdom. They paid glowing tributes to him. Mushtaq Sukhera IG Punjab said we were aware of the threats of terrorist activities due to operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Shuja Khanzada will be buried in the ancestral village Shadi Khan. It has been a sad day for the entire nation. We have lost two brave soldiers. Shuja Khanzada was made victim of cowardly terrorist attack. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif paid glowing tributes to Khanzada and expressed sympathies with the martyred minister’s family.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif declared three days mourning in his honor. May Allah bless his soul and rest him in eternal peace.
