CHARSADDA, Jan 31 (INP): The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel on Sunday arrested five suspects with arms and explosives from Mehmoodabad area in the jurisdiction of Umerzai police station here.
On a tip-off, the police and other LEAs conducted a operation in Mehmoodabad and arrested the suspects hailing from North Waziristan Agency (NWA), Bajaur and Afghanistan.
3 policemen suspended for negligence after robber escapes from lockup
Three policemen were suspended on Sunday for negligence after a robber escaped from the lockup a police station in Jacobabad.
Robber Nisar Mirani was arrested some five days ago after an exchange of fire in Thal area.
The police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to arrest the accused.
