Dacoits’ Rule
It is extremely agonizing to read the accounts of incidents of dacoity and theft in the daily newspapers. The citizens of the Metropolitan city of Lahore are deprived and robbed of vehicles, motorcycles, jewellery, cash and other valuables worth millions of Rupees on a regular basis.
We find Punjab Government making claims of good governance. One may ask, “What is the Yardstick of measuring the performance o his government by the Chief Minister?”
Not a single locality of Lahore is safe from the reach of the dacoits and thieves. They roam daylight the streets with impunity looting & plundering houses, shops and businesses in the broad day light.
The government has failed to provide security & protection to the citizens. Even the Police is rendered useless by these dacoits. They carry on their activities without any belt and hindrances.
This is a black stain on the face of the Punjab government & throws all its claims out of the window. It also shows the lack of ability & effectiveness of the police force. What is it for safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens or assisting the dacoits and thieves?
We must arrest the alarming situation or leave it to the mercy of nature.
The economic conditions and unemployment have forced the young men and women to become dacoits and thieves. This is again a slap on the face of the government which has failed on all accounts. Let us pray to Allah the mighty to give u protection from the menacing dacoits and thieves.
