AL-KHOBAR: To prepare for summer 2016, and to beat the heat, a family event was organized ‘Summer Carnival 2016’ on a surprisingly pleasant day of at Al Shola Beach Resort Aziziyah Al-Khobar for Asian and Arab expat community.
With the limited options of entertainment for expats in Kingdom, the organizers came up with an idea to launch an event with happenings for all ages. Consequently over 1000 people witnessed the event, which is a remarkable count in the history of any event planned in Al Khobar. This carnival comprised of beach activities for kids like rides, jumping castle, face painting, household and daily usage stalls like clothes, jewelry paintings, etc. for ladies. Various food stalls were also arranged. Apart from all above happenings, the backbone of the event was the stage program which was the highlight of the event and relished by youth and couples.
Omair Sheikh and RJ Fawad from “Versatile Intellective Productions” conducted the event. Their convincing hosting thrilled the audience during performances to create a festive ambiance. Also, Black Cinema Productions team as media partner merged with an event from Riyadh for media coverage. This stage program was fired up with heart throbbing performances by Indian and Pakistani singers. Singing of Seeme Zia. Gopika, Shailendra Asodekar and Ali Hashmi cherished by the audience but the performance of Bollywood star Hamza Farooqui gladdened the crowd. His outclass style of singing melted the heart of people and highly adored by the listeners.
In the end gratitude certificates and honoring shields were awarded to all performers and supporting teams by the chief guest Waqar Naseem Wamiq and Qudsia Nadeem. Both guests esteemed the efforts of ladies organizers and associated teams for this prosperous affair.
Main organizers of the event were, Zaiqaa Restaurant owned by Mrs. Sabiha Hilal, Elegant Style owned by Erum Tanveer and Aroosaa’s Fashion Trends by Samiya Asif. The event was promoted by Vision Marketing owned by Salwa Rana and coordinated by Elite Club owned by Javeria Asad. Mr. Naffay Hussain backed up the event with his design and technical expertise. The event was sponsored by Friendi Mobile and Careem Transportation.
Giving interview to media partners, ladies organizers sentenced, “We confronted many difficulties in arranging this event but we overawed all the hindrances with passion and with ‘can do attitude.’
Overall this carnival and musical extravaganza was the combination of all the glitzy activities conceivably planned in Kingdom for expatriate community and was highly cherished and esteemed by the audience.
