HYDERABAD: Secretary Information Sindh Abdul Rashid Solangi has said that with the completion of works of information offices of Hyderabad division and districts peoples welfare projects of Sindh government could be getting wide publicity as also journalists would be getting help in the performance of their duties. He was chairing a meeting of information officers of the Hyderabad division and engineers and officers of the building department in the office of the divisional directorate of Hyderabad to review the progress of the annual development program about works of information offices being carried out under ADP.
The meeting was attended by the divisional director of information Sawai Khan Chhalgri, deputy director Sujawal Mir Alam Jokhyo, deputy director Tando Allahyar Khalid Hussain Kamboh, deputy director Matiari Muhammad Sabir Kaka, Deputy director Thatta Saeed Memon, deputy director Badin Muhammad Yakoob Bhatti, deputy director Tando Muhammad Khan Kulsoon Khoso, district information officer Dadu Abdul Latif Solangi, information officer Jamshoro Alamgir Ranjhani.
On this occasion addressing the meeting Secretary of Information Sindh Abdul Rashid Solangi asked officers to ensure speedy work of construction of information department offices as also to see that standard work is carried out and that work on all schemes must be completed before 30 June 2022. He also asked Director of Information to visit sites of works and ensure the standard of work. Sectary information expressed anger on remarks of XEN Thatta that works of information offices Thatta and Sujawal might not be completed by 30 June 2022 and said in any case works of all districts including Thatta and Sujawal must also be completed to save lapse of funds otherwise action would be taken against engineers.
