Evidence‑Based Peace Approach for Pakistan

Pakistan’s long struggle with internal and external conflict has shown the limits of conventional peacebuilding tools such as diplomacy, deterrence, and military force. A growing body of scientific research now points to a transformative alternative: reducing societal stress through collective consciousness‑based practices. Recent demonstrations—including the 2023–2024 Assembly of 10,000 in India—show statistically significant reductions in political violence when large groups practice these techniques together. Decades of peer‑reviewed studies reinforce these findings, revealing consistent declines in crime, terrorism, and conflict across diverse regions. For Pakistan, integrating IDT into its security strategy could provide a cost‑effective, sustainable path toward lasting peace by addressing the psychological and societal roots of instability.
