Nine development schemes worth Rs 10.83 billion approved for Punjab
LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved nine development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 10831.291 million.
These schemes were approved in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Irfan Elahi.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: provision of laptops (2015-16) at the cost of Rs. 5455.638 million, Construction of Concrete Silos of 100,000 M.T capacity at Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Kot Chuta (30,000 M. tons capacity at Mana Ahmadani at the cost of Rs. 345.068 million, feasibility for the establishment of “National Safari Park” in Salt Range (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 9.200 million, comprehensive water supply and sewerage scheme Mianwali (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 499.104 million, establishment of Directorate General of Monitoring and Evaluation (Health) at the cost of Rs. 749.519 million, construction of Sheikh Zayed Medical Complex (Phase-II/A), Rahim Yar Khan (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1477.404 million, improvement / rehabilitation of Rawalpindi Murree Kashmir road km.66 to 104 length = 38 km, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs. 1306.685 million, widening / improvement and rehabilitation of 24-Nos schemes in PP-272, district Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs. 290.592, and dualization of Bahawalngar city roads with street lights district Bahawalnagar at the cost of Rs. 698.081.
