HARIPUR: At least four woman teachers were killed, and three sustained injuries when the van carrying them skidded off the road and hit a tree near Buldhair here on Thursday.
According to police, the accident occurred to over-speed. The driver lost the control over steering, and the van hit the roadside tree after skidding off. The teachers belong to Government Girls College.
Rescue teams shifted the dead bodies and injured to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad. The injured were said to be in critical condition.
Youth dies, two injured in Haripur road accident
A youth died, and two others were wounded in a collision with a truck, mini-truck and motorcycle near Panian area of Haripur on Thursday.
The rescue personnel shifted the body and the injured to a hospital. The condition of the wounded was also stated to be serious.
