CITIZEN Asia Limited Promaster NY011 series

With the same iconic look, a larger 44mm size, and new features.

SINGAPORE
Media OutReach - 20 July 2020 -

Bigger
and better at 44mm

The original Promaster NY004 diving
watch that was released in 1989 was the basis for the new generation of Citizen
Asia Limited
Promaster NY008 series watches
that were released since 2018. These two collections, with the first in 2018
coming mainly on rubber straps, and the second in 2019, coming on stainless
steel bracelets, have been a critical and commercial success.

Fans of CITIZEN have lauded these
collections for their robust technical features, the unique back story of the
original Promaster
NY004 series being used by the Italian Navy, and the affordable price point
that made them accessible to everyone. Most interesting however, the Citizen
Asia Limited Promaster NY008 series came with an engraving of a "Fugu", or
Japanese for "pufferfish" on the caseback, which was in acknowledgement of the
nickname given to the original Promaster NY004 series diver by fans. This was
due to the distinctive shape of the bezel - designed with curved and sharp
edges that made it easy to grip in wet conditions - that reminded fans of the
pufferfish.

With the aesthetics of the original
firmly established, CITIZEN has decided to use the same well-loved formula found
in the 42mm Promaster NY008 series and create a new version in a larger 44mm
size. This not only comes in line with modern preferences, but gives another
option for fans to be able to choose the size that fits them better.

In the new, Citizen Asia Limited Promaster
NY011 series, the signature design elements have
been retained, such as the bezel with serrated teeth for easy gripping in wet
conditions, as well as the new design of the hour markers that was introduced
in the Promaster NY008 series in 2018.

The new collection though is not just
about a larger 44m case size. In fact, aside from this, there are a number of
new features that the collection introduces to the family of the Citizen Asia
Limited series, that watch fans will certainly appreciate.

New
features

The headline feature of the Citizen Asia
Limited Promaster NY011 series might be the larger 44mm case size, but there
are other notable ones that greatly increase the value proposition on offer.
These technical additions not only increase the performance of the watch for
diving, but also make the overall ownership experience more satisfying.

The first feature is the use of a
sapphire crystal instead of the mineral crystal that was used in the previous Promaster
NY008 series. Sapphire crystal is more expensive and typically used in watches
that are higher in price. This is because of its main advantage, in that it is a
harder material that resists scratches. This means that it will resist rough
handling better, and allow the crystal to retain its function of allowing the
owner to read the time clearly. This is in contrast to a mineral crystal, which
can pick up scuffs and scratches over time which can mar the look and
functionality of the watch.

In
terms of the diving bezel, there is a notable upgrade in functionality. This
time, the Citizen Asia Limited Promaster NY011 series comes with 120 clicks as
opposed to the 60 clicks of the previous collections. This means that it has
the ability to more precisely define a dive time when it in used. Additionally,
it also means a better feel in the hand as the bezel is rotated since it is
more precisely made to higher tolerances.

The Citizen Asia Limited Promaster
NY011 series will also feature a new polyurethane
strap that by all appearances comes with the same technical features already
found in the current polyurethane straps supplied with diving watches. Not only
is there a N.D Limits table printed on it to help divers calculate
decompression times, the strap is also rippled towards the watch head, in order
to compensate for the compression of a wetsuit sleeve underwater at depth and
so ensure that the watch remains securely on the wrist.

The main difference is that the new polyurethane
is softer, and more durable than the previous version, which helps with greater
all-day comfort on land or in its native environment, underwater.

Finally, the laser engraving of the
"Fugu" or puffer fish that is found on the case-back of the Citizen
Asia Limited Promaster NY011 series will appear slightly differently than that
found on the Promaster NY008 series. While the design of the "Fugu" remains the
same, the appearance of it will be more defined, and this is because it is
etched deeper in the engraving process.

The rest of the technical specifications
of the new Citizen
Asia Limited Promaster NY011 series will be
familiar, as the watches will use the proven in-house cal. 8203 movement, have
200m water resistance and be compliant with the ISO 6425 standard for diving
watches.

Fully Lumed Dial

One of the popular dial variations of
the original Promaster
NY004 from 1989 was the one with a fully lumed dial. Unlike most watches that
have lume applied on hour markers for time telling in the dark, these watches
had lume applied instead, on the dial. Hour markers were typically not lumed so
that they would contrast against the generous amount of lume on the dial, and
so be the points by which a user could reference to tell the time.

A fully lumed dial is comparatively
rare, with only a few brands having made watches with them before. CITIZEN has
always been one of the brands known for producing this type of dial, and so,
for aficionados of lumed watches that wanted the ultimate visibility of the
time in the dark, the original Promaster
NY004 was a popular option.

CITIZEN introduced this dial again in
2018 with the NY0080-12X, and again this year with the new Citizen Asia
Limited Promaster NY011 series.

The fully lumed variant of the Citizen
Asia Limited Promaster NY011 series is three
times brighter than that used in the previous Promaster NY008 series. Not only
that, because the dial is bigger, there is more lume overall, which makes the
brightness that can be experienced under low light even more apparent. This
particular model is limited to 2,000 pieces, with each piece carrying its own
series number on the case-back.

Variations

The new Citizen Asia Limited Promaster
NY011 series will come in four colour variations,
all mounted on polyurethane straps. There will be two black dial variants, one
with a bezel in red (for the first 15 minutes) and blue and the other in blue
(for the first 15 minutes) and black. Then, there will be a white dial variant
with a black bezel, a relatively uncommon combination in a diving watch.
Lastly, there will be the aforementioned fully lumed dial variant with a black
bezel.

The watches will be
available towards the middle of 2020 in the following markets -Singapore,
Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Taiwan region, Hong Kong SAR, Philippines,
and Cambodia.

Group's global operations, supporting the operations of more than 400 Fitness

 - 17 July
2020 - The
leading international sportswear brand enterprise in the PRC, China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd.
("China Dongxiang" or "the Company", together with its
subsidiaries, "the Group", HKEx stock code: 3818) announces its operational results for the three
months ended 30 June 2020 (''FY2020/21 Q1'').

For the FY2020/21 Q1, the retail performance of Kappa stores
(excluding Kappa kids' apparel business and Japan business) for the overall
platform registered a mid-to-low single-digit decrease on a year-on-year basis,
of which the offline business recorded a low-teen decrease and the e-commerce
business recorded a mid-to-low thirties growth. Offline retail performance in
May 2020 recorded a low-single-digit growth as compared with that in April 2020 due to on-going market recovery. Retail discount has
dropped by 4 percentage points as affected by the market, with discount rate still under the controllable range.

As for the same-store-sales ("SSS") during FY2020/21 Q1, in respect
of Kappa stores (excluding Kappa kids' apparel business and Japan business)
which have been in operation since the beginning of the same quarter the
previous year, the SSS for the overall platform registered a mid-single-digit
decrease on a year-on-year basis, of which the offline business recorded a
mid-to-low-teen decrease, while the e-commerce business recorded a mid-to-low
thirties growth.

For the first quarter ended 30 June 2020, the number of Kappa-branded stores of the

stores.

Mr. Zhang Zhiyong, CEO,
President and Executive Director of China Dongxiang
, said, "Market competition has been intensified since the outbreak of
COVID-19. We anticipate that there will be a year-on-year volume growth
in sports apparel and equipment industry this year, though selling prices will be under
pressure. Entering the third year of 'direct-franchise' model reform for Kappa brand, the Group's inventory level is expected to decline. By implementing such business reforms, the
market share of Kappa brand has been maintained during the period. In addition, our management has improved and implemented localised strategies
for the sales teams in an orderly manner, while driving reforms and
construction of  the product team, with an aim to enhance core competitiveness of the brand. We will continue to closely monitor the changes of

Qatar Airways to Resume Guangzhou Passenger Flights from 26 July

  • Flights will be operated initially with one weekly
    frequency every Sunday
  • The airline recently announced the upcoming resumption of
flights to destinations including Maldives, Berlin, Prague, Toronto,
    Kilimanjaro, Venice and Zanzibar

BEIJING, CHINA - Media
OutReach
 - 17 July
2020 - Qatar
Airways
is pleased to announce that it will resume Guangzhou scheduled
passenger services with an initial one weekly flight starting 26 July. The Southern
China economic and commercial centre becomes the latest destination to join the
global network the airline is gradually rebuilding, in addition to the recently
announced flight resumptions to Bali, Maldives, Beirut, Belgrade, Berlin, Edinburgh,
Larnaca, Prague, Zagreb, Ankara, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, Bucharest, Sofia and Venice.

The much-anticipated resumption of Guangzhou passenger flights will
further enhance the airline's commitment to the Chinese market by providing passengers
access between Doha, China and beyond via the airline's award-winning hub,
Hamad International Airport (HIA), which was recently voted 'Best Airport in
the Middle East' for the sixth year in a row  by the SKYTRAX World Airport Awards 2020.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker
said: "The resumption of Guangzhou passenger services is one of the significant
steps taken by Qatar Airways to demonstrate our confidence in the gradual
recovery of the regional travel market and global connectivity. Since the COVID-19
crisis started, we have challenged ourselves to be at the forefront and combat
the effects of this global pandemic, by volunteering our services to deliver worldwide
medical supplies coordinated by Chinese Embassies and Consulates.

"In addition to scheduled freighter services,
we have also operated a large number of charters and freight-only passenger
aircraft to meet China's surging demand for imports and exports. With the
resumption of passenger flights, we will have 52 flights in total, comprising
of passenger freighters, belly-hold cargo flights and freighters in and out of
Mainland China each week, providing more than 2500 tonnes of weekly cargo
capacity each way."

"Qatar Airways been closely working with the
local authorities to secure regulatory approval and ensure we are staying up to
date with the latest in airport procedures and the most advanced safety and
hygiene measures onboard. The return of Guangzhou in our international network will
help to re-establish the connection between Doha and China that directly
benefits our customers and trade partners. We continue to uphold our core mission
of being the trusted airline that gets people home safely and look forward to
further strengthening our schedule to China by increasing frequencies and
destinations as operating environment permits."

The airline's share of the passenger and air cargo market has grown
significantly over the past three months. Qatar Airways has remained in
operation throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and has operated a significant
schedule of over 17,000 flights, including over 300 special charters to more
than two million people home globally. The airline has also been running a
robust cargo operation globally, with up to 180 dedicated cargo flights daily,
and has transported over 580,000 tonnes of cargo all around the world.

During the past months, Qatar Airways Cargo has also worked closely with
governments and NGOs to transport over 250,000 tonnes of medical and aid
supplies to impacted regions around the world on both scheduled and charter
services. This equates to roughly 2,500 fully loaded Boeing 777 freighters.

Qatar Airways has further enhanced its onboard safety measures for
passengers and cabin crew, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) suits for cabin crew while onboard, as well as a modified service that
reduces interactions between the passengers and the crew inflight. Cabin Crew
have already been wearing PPE during flights, including gloves and facemasks. Recently,
Qatar Airways has also introduced new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits for
passengers that include a facemask, disposable gloves and hand sanitiser. In
addition, passengers will be provided a face shield visor, available in adult
and children size, for their use in conjunction with facemask during flights.

The airline recently announced plans to
gradually rebuild its network in line with the evolution of passenger demand
and the expected relaxation of entry restrictions around the world. By the end
of July, the airline plans to expand its network to over 70 destinations. To

Chuo Spring adopts Infor ERP solution at overseas sites to improve business visibility and standardize operations globally

Provides governance and expands standardized model from Japan for manufacturing industries

TOKYO, JAPAN - Media OutReach - 17 July 2020 - Infor Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of
Infor, a global leader in business cloud software specialized by industry,
today announced that Chuo Spring Co., Ltd., an automotive components
manufacturer, has adopted at its Indonesian sites Infor CloudSuite Industrial,
an ERP solution for manufacturing industries, to enhance business visibility
and standardize its operations globally.

Background

Chuo Spring is an automotive components manufacturer engaged in the
development, manufacturing, and sale of springs, control cables, and other
components incorporated into vehicles. Using its control cable technologies,
the company is expanding its product range outside of automotive components as
well, developing businesses in areas such as construction equipment and
welfare-related equipment.

Chuo Spring's overseas network comprises 10 sites in five countries as
part of its commitment to overseas expansion. However, because each overseas
site operates different core business systems, and conducts operations
differently, it has been difficult for head office in Japan to obtain accurate
real-time information. As a result, each site has been left to implement its
own business improvements, and governance from head office has been largely
ineffective.

Chuo Spring made the decision to use Infor CloudSuite Industrial as a
dedicated core system for its overseas sites, and deploy the solution in its
Indonesian sites, in recognition of its ability to adapt Japanese standardized
operations to sites overseas and support centralized management and global
operations from its Japanese head office.

Results of adoption

Chuo Spring deployed Infor CloudSuite Industrial in the latter half of
2019, and is using it to manage shipping, sales, procurement, warehousing, and
accounting at its Indonesian sites. The company is gradually deploying Infor's
single-instance ERP, built for global operations, across its overseas sites,
starting with Indonesia. In this way, its head office in Japan will be able to
understand data in real time across its global network, and drive business
improvements based on companywide data (including from those overseas sites).

Along with adoption of Infor CloudSuite Industrial, Chuo Spring's
Indonesian sites are standardizing operations in line with Japan. They are
improving the efficiency of their operations, including eliminating data entry
work for shipping processes, reducing conversion time through a unified code
system, and eliminating double entries through data centralization. Going
forward, in addition to more accurate inventory management, accelerated
financial reporting, and other operational improvements at its Indonesian
sites, Chuo Spring will expand its standardization model to other overseas
sites as well.

Comment from Kenta Koide, Vice President, Member of the board, Chuo Spring Co.,
Ltd.

"To enable
continued expansion at Chuo Spring, we needed an ERP solution to visualize our
overseas site data in real time and enable data-driven business decisions. In
addition to the rich functionality and proven achievements for global
manufacturing businesses offered by Infor's ERP solution, we were impressed
with its versatility, flexible licensing structure, and development environment
enabling easy implementation and meeting local requirements."

Trend Micro Research Discovers Botnet Battle for Home Routers

Report warns of users caught in the middle of new cybercrime turf war

HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - 16 July 2020 - Trend Micro Incorporated
(TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), the
global leader in cloud security, today
released new research warning consumers of a major new wave of attacks
attempting to compromise their home routers for use in IoT botnets. The report
urges users to take action to stop their devices from enabling this criminal
activity.

There has been a recent spike in attacks targeting and leveraging
routers, particularly around Q4 2019. This research indicates increased abuse
of these devices will continue as attackers are able to easily monetize these
infections in secondary attacks.

"With a large majority of the population currently reliant on home
networks for their work and studies, what's happening to your router has never
been more important," said Jon Clay, director of global threat
communications for Trend Micro. "Cybercriminals know that a vast majority
of home routers are insecure with default credentials and have ramped up
attacks on a massive scale. For the home user, that's hijacking their bandwidth
and slowing down their network. For the businesses being targeted by secondary
attacks, these botnets can totally take down a website, as we've seen in past
high-profile attacks."

Trend Micro's research revealed an increase from October 2019 onwards
in brute force log-in attempts against routers, in which attackers use
automated software to try common password combinations. The number of attempts
increased nearly tenfold, from around 23 million in September to nearly 249
million attempts in December 2019. As recently as March 2020, Trend
Micro recorded almost 194 million brute force logins.

Another indicator that the scale of this threat has increased is devices
attempting to open telnet sessions with other IoT devices. Because telnet is
unencrypted, it's favored by attackers -- or their botnets -- as a way to probe
for user credentials. At its peak, in mid-March 2020, nearly 16,000
devices attempted to open telnet sessions with other IoT devices in a single
week.

This trend is concerning for several reasons. Cybercriminals are
competing with each other to compromise as many routers as possible so they can
be conscripted into botnets. These are then sold on underground sites either to
launch Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, or as a way to anonymize
other attacks such as click fraud, data theft and account takeover.

Competition is so fierce that criminals are known to uninstall any
malware they find on targeted routers, booting off their rivals so they can
claim complete control over the device.

For the home user, a compromised router is likely to suffer performance issues.
If attacks are subsequently launched from that device, their IP address may
also be blacklisted -- possibly implicating them in criminal activity and
potentially cutting them off from key parts of the internet, and even corporate
networks.

As explained in the report, there's a thriving black market in botnet
malware and botnets-for-hire. Although any IoT device could be compromised and
leveraged in a botnet, routers are of particular interest because they are
easily accessible and directly connected to the internet.

Trend Micro makes the following recommendations for home users:

  • Make sure you use a strong password. Change it from
    time to time.
  • Make sure the router is running the latest
    firmware.
  • Check logs to find behavior that doesn't make sense
    for the network.
  • Only allow logins to the router from the local
    network.

Two Out of Three Rare Disease Patients in Asia-Pacific Do Not Receive the Best-available Care, According to an Economist Intelligence Unit Survey

  • Knowledge of rare diseases among healthcare professionals is lacking:
  • o 34% do not know if there is a definition for rare diseases

o 35% do not know if there is a national rare disease policy
  • 14% of healthcare professionals report never encountering a rare disease patient
  • Better coordination between disciplines and across borders is needed to ensure every rare disease patient receives the best care available

HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - 16 July 2020 - There are between 6,000 and 7,000 known rare diseases, which share little in common beyond their infrequency. This represents both a medical and policy challenge, often resulting in those with rare diseases receiving suboptimal support. While individual diseases may be rare, their collective burden is significant. The Economist Intelligence Unit estimates that around 258 million people across Asia-Pacific are affected by rare diseases. While rare diseases are increasingly moving up the health policy agenda in Asia-Pacific, more work is needed to provide people with rare diseases the support they need.

The Economist Intelligence Unit report, Suffering in silence: Assessing rare disease awareness and management in Asia-Pacific, sponsored by CSL Behring, describes healthcare professional's experiences around rare diseases--measured in a regional survey of over 500 people--and reviews policy responses in five economies: Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

The research found that healthcare professionals do not feel adequately equipped with the knowledge or tools to diagnose and manage rare diseases across all economies, and obtaining a correct diagnosis within a reasonable timeframe is the greatest challenge. Fragmentation of care is another critical issue. Healthcare professionals reported that only one-third of rare disease patients receive the best-available care, and lack of clinical practice guidelines, regulatory-approved medicine and funding for testing or treatment were the reasons cited for why not. Finally, the provision of support for quality of life, autonomy and rights was the weakest aspect of care provision, according to survey respondents.

Policy responses to more comprehensively address rare diseases are emerging across the region, but are hampered by lack of comprehensive data on the incidence and prevalence of rare diseases and a lack of a unified rare disease definition. Meanwhile, the establishment of national undiagnosed disease programmes in some economies has demonstrated the power of increased collaboration and a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing the core issues around diagnosis and patient care. Currently-achievable or near-term goals identified by the research include better collection and use of data, enhanced education, broader dissemination of available knowledge and integration of patient care through increased national or international collaboration.

Jesse Quigley Jones, editor of the report said: "Despite the clear challenges in addressing rare diseases in Asia-Pacific, there appears to be slow and steady progress towards coordinated and integrated care. Adopting a holistic policy approach that makes provision for both the medical and social needs of the rare disease community--and doing so in collaboration with patient representatives--has the potential to make a real difference in this area."
