Letters
A newspaper is a conversation, and Letters is where our readers hold the floor. This section publishes correspondence sent to the editor from across Pakistan and the diaspora: responses to our reporting, corrections and challenges, first-hand accounts from people closer to a story than any reporter was, and appeals from citizens whose complaints have gone unanswered elsewhere. Readers write about the concerns that shape opinion long before they shape policy. We also carry considered dissent from our editorials and letters that simply record what people are thinking. Contributions are edited for length and clarity, verified where necessary, and published on merit rather than prominence. If you have something to say to us, or to the officials who read us, this public forum remains open.
